Set in mature gardens, The Old School House, Tillmouth, was built in 1867 as a school and headmaster’s residence, providing education for children from surrounding farms and hamlets. After closing in 1965, it was sympathetically converted into a private dwelling. The Hodgson family have made it their home and will offer you a friendly, warm welcome.
The Old School House is situated perfectly for excursions and explorations in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

Personal guided walks within Northumberland and the Borders are also available, with Noel Hodgson as your guide. Writer, poet and historian, Noel can offer you a special insight into the area, revealing some of its "hidden" treasures.
